Cada 18 de septiembre se celebra el día de la independencia y la gente acude, durante varios días, a las ramadas a bailar y disfrutar de los productos típicos. Algunos de los productos típicos son: Empanadas, anticuchos, chicha en cacho, tortillas de rescoldo etc.

Las ramadas suelen durar de 4 a 5 días and durante ese tiempo la gente pasea con su familia o amigos por el lugar.
